The EPA Emerging Contaminants (EC) Reimbursement Grant Program assists Lockwood Water and Sewer District property owners with the cost of connecting to the Lockwood sewer system to reduce Emerging Contaminants entering the groundwater.
Currently the program is open to Lockwood Sewer Phase 1 and Phase 2 properties. Phase 3 properties will not be able to apply until the new sewer lines are constructed and have been put into service, estimated to be late 2027 or early 2028.
Only properties with existing septic systems are eligible for the grant program.
